Key Responsibilities:

• Aligning sourcing efforts to meet business goals and objectives.
• Assessing supplier risks and developing the appropriate contingency plans to yield on time delivery and quality deliverables.
• Developing and implementing strategic outsourcing and inventory management initiatives.
• Establishing, implementing, and maintaining compliance to policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Driving state of the art supplier management standard work.
• Engaging in operating income initiatives to reduce operating costs and increase efficiency.
• Establishing and tracking supply chain specific key performance indicators.
• Identifying and qualifying new suppliers that meet the business and performance standards of the company.
• Evaluating statements of work (SOW) and negotiating terms and conditions.
• Analyzing suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect prices and determining lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Reviewing purchase order contracts for conformance to company and customer policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement, manufacturing operations, and material logistics.
• Prior experience procuring for projects requiring US government regulations (FAR, DFAR, ITAR).
• ISO 9001 or AS 9100 background.
• Strong time management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
