Job Summary
Cellipont Bioservices is growing, and we are looking for a Supply Chain Warehouse Manager who believes in the potential of bridging client's discoveries to patient cures and who wants to challenge the status quo and take Cellipont and its clients to the next level.
The Supply Chain Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all material related planning activities needed to meet pre-clinical, early to late phase, commercial manufacturing, and process development requirements. The main objective of the Supply Chain Warehouse Manager is to coordinate and improve the incoming material planning function with the implementation of planning best practices and the full utilization of an ERP system. This role will closely interface with Finance, Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, MS&T, and Project Management to ensure that all Manufacturing requirements are met and on-schedule.
The Role
- Schedule warehouse (including returns and destruction departments), shipping and receiving personnel to ensure proper staffing in a productive, cost effective and timely manner.
- Maintain and control all plant inventories throughout the facility.
- Ensure effective material flow throughout the facility, including transactional accuracy, lot tracking, and quality status compliance.
- Ensure a high level of inventory accuracy through an approved cycle counting program.
- Provide material support for all Production, Quality, Sales, and Engineering activities.
- Achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives for assigned areas.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and cGMP requirements.
- Effectively communicate with logistics personnel to guide, mentor, and coach and develop teams to achieve business goals.
- Establish and utilize metrics to drive improvement activity and ensure that decisions are based on facts and measurement trends.
- Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Execute / monitor MRP calculations and messages.
- Planning strategies to support both MRP and non-MRP activities (i.e. reorder point planning, Kanban programs, safety stock demand planning, ABC categorization, etc.).
- Contribute to the lifecycle management process to optimize inventory, mitigate material expiry, and reduce scrap.
- Provide regular counting and verification of physical inventories to establish inventory accuracy
- Determine and correct root causes of errors to ensure that inventory accuracy improves steadily and permanently
- Investigate and resolve inventory problems in ERP system.
- Run appropriate integrity reports within ERP system
- Perform data analysis related to inventory discrepancies
- Performs all work in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulations
The Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree required with 5+ years minimum in material planning in a GMP environment
- Supply Chain/Manufacturing Operations experience in CDMO environment preferred
- Lean Six Sigma experience in developing and implementing processes, procedures, and systems preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving and warehousing in an ERP environment, JDE preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including investigative writing
- Detail oriented, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop processes and act as a change catalyst and ability to build and motivate teams
- Practical knowledge of MRP, database management, inventory planning and forecasting, and product structures.
- Must be organized, possess strong time management skills, and be able to manage changing priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
