About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the client with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
- Monitor and manage the client's seizure disorder, including administering prescribed medications.
- Implement behavior management strategies to help the client cope with challenging behaviors.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to the client.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the client.
Qualifications:
- Experience with individuals who have severe seizure disorders and challenging behaviors.
- CNA or CBRF certification is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Possess compassion, patience, and empathy for individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs.
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Compensation: $17.50 to $21.00 per hour.
