Responsibilities:Responsible for scheduling both surgical procedures and Anesthesia provider coverage for Mercy Hospital. This includes interaction with surgeons and their office staff and anesthesiologists, entry of the data into the computer system, production and distribution of surgery schedule, block scheduling maintenance, and surgical scheduling system maintenance. May also be asked to perform other clerical duties as needed and requested to support daily clinic operation goals and quality patient care initiatives per departmental guidelines.
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of recent OR scheduling in acute hospital setting.
- Experience in scheduling anesthesiology providers.
- High school graduate or general equivalency.
