Qualifications:
Minimum three years of surgical posting experience.
Proficient knowledge of insurance.
Computer proficiency and prior experience with the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system is a plus.
Urology or surgical experience is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build relationships and clearly convey information to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to be proactive by anticipating challenges and finding a solution to ensure smooth operations.
Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
Ability to multi-task, effectively problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
Current knowledge of acceptable and appropriate clinical practice, quality assurance, and patient management and care.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative while collaborating effectively with team members.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient computer software and database skills.
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and bring forth ideas to enhance positive patient care.
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology.
Comfortable asking probing questions to patients.
Must demonstrate a caring, compassionate, and patient attitude.
Maintain & adhere to HIPAA compliance/ regulations.
Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.

Travel:
Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.
Physical Requirements for the Job:
Regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods.
Involves standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting.
Requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 lbs.
