The Surgical Services Administrative Assistant will support in overseeing the daily operations of the hospital’s Surgical Services department. Additionally, they will work closely with hospital management and administration, to provide leadership and mentorship to department staff.

This is a Full-Time position (PT available).
Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Temporary needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Surgical Services leadership team to maintain smooth flow of daily operations of the OR
- Manage next day's surgical schedule, collaborating with charge RN to assure proper case order, arrival times and preference cards are in place.
- Handle the scheduling of same day and next day add-ons, including PAT scheduling and chart preparation. Collaborates with OR charge to communicate add-ons with other perioperative departments.
- Answer phones in O.R., Recovery Room, etc – taking and relaying messages between all departments.
- Check to ensure all charts for next day surgeries are available to PreOp staff.
- Order office supplies and forms and maintain an organized system for reorder and storage.
Qualifications
