Survey Field Technician - Basin Engineering & Surveying

Position Overview: As a Survey Field Technician, you'll be on the front lines of our surveying team, assisting in the collection of critical field data. You will work directly with our survey crews, using state-of-the-art equipment to complete surveys efficiently and accurately. Whether you're traversing rugged landscapes or assisting on flat commercial sites, your attention to detail and ability to adapt to various conditions will ensure the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys using RTK GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and other advanced surveying instruments.
• Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of surveying equipment.
• Collect accurate field data and assist in the preparation of sketches, maps, and reports.
• Work collaboratively with survey crews, project engineers, and office staff to ensure the completion of projects on time and to specification.
• Perform topographic, boundary, construction staking, and as-built surveys.
• Travel to various project sites, adapting to different environments and weather conditions.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous experience in land surveying, civil engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveying equipment and field methods, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
