About the Job
The Competitive Intelligence Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting detailed competitive intelligence on technology products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of an identity product, the ability to evaluate and compare competitive offerings.

Duration: 90 days (possibility to renew)
What you will do:
Perform in-depth capability analysis of Microsoft Identity Products products leveraging publicly available information information on public websites, magazine and newspaper articles, radio or other media interviews, events open to the general public, publicly available annual reports, and interviews with end-users of competitors’ products or services (provided they are free to do so without contractual restriction) for following products.
Microsoft Entra ID
Microsoft Identity Manager
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Active Directory Federation Service
Setup test environments to perform feature testing may also be required.
Maintain resources such as competitive battlecards, playbooks, SWOT analysis, etc., and transform these competitive insights into useful tools for field enablement.
We are looking for:
1. Understanding of customer and workforce identity spaces. Awareness of key players.
2. Deep knowledge of Okta and Microsoft’s suite of products.
3. Experience working with Hybrid Identity (Active Directory + Okta or Active Directory + Entra ID)
4. Experience setting up SSO & provisioning for SaaS applications.
5. Strong technical research, benchmarking, and analytical skills.
Bonus points for:
1. Hands-on experience with any of the following products Ping, ForgeRock, Sailpoint.
2. Experience working with various endpoints including Windows. mscOS. Linux. iOS & Android
3. Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML,Kerberos, LDAP)
4. Hand-ons work with MDM or UEM products (Intune. Workspace One, JamF etc)
