System Development Engineer
We are looking for a Systems Development Engineer to provide the onsite support while deploying and maintaining test infrastructure at our project Facility. You will support the test infrastructure to be delivered, built and verified on supporting the product on satellites tests at our manufacturing facility. This job will have the opportunity to dive into satellite hardware and software technologies as well as working closely with Satellite hardware, software, network, security and tests teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Provide the onsite hands-on support (installation, modification, verification, debug, troubleshooting) during test infrastructure (Rack, network, server and system/software) deployment
- Responsible for test system setup and verification
- Provide the ad-hoc infrastructure troubleshooting support for the test system team during the functional tests
- Plan, develop, document and execute test infra maintenance/operations
- Troubleshoot test infra performance problems with an integrated cross-functional team of security, network, system and software.
- Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to triage and resolve operational issues
- On-onsite support for operational test racks, harnesses, and operations software systems support.
- Test rack physical security management
- Test infrastructure inventory management
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable degree
- 5+ years of technical role in system design/build/deployment
- 4 + years of experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration, troubleshooting network switches and VLANs
- Experience developing software for safety critical applications
- Experience managing project tasks and scheduling
- Experience with AWS services and cloud development
- Experience automating subsystem and system level manufacturing processes
