ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer with the focus of Cisco Networks, to join our team in Laurel, MD.
Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and upgrade networks, including routers and switches.
- Update and configure virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.
- Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies.
- Design and plan the network for Cisco NEXUS switches.
- Establish and maitina Cisco network.
- Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (Solarwinds).
- Mentor teammates to improve their skills and be self-motivated.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience. Additional 8+ years of experience may be substituted for degree.
- Able to download software and upgrade Cisco switches and firewalls
- Strong background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Solarwinds
- Familiarity with LatteART and XACTA
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
- Must be a US Citizen
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700.00-$224,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
