Perform for basic level design, integration, implementation and modification ofassigned user information systems. This includes coordination of theinstallation, testing, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of thosesystems. Provide functional and technical expertise in support of user systemsoperation and maintenance. May include support of labs, training facilities andgeneral IT office software and hardware. Temp work will interact on a consistentbasis with: departmental users. Conduct needs analysis, planning and schedulingthe installation of new or modified hardware/software. Develop functional andtechnical IT system requirements and specifications. Provide technical supportthrough allocating systems resources, managing accounts, administeringpasswords, documentation, security, recoverability and access. Monitor andreports on system performance. Maintain hardware and software inventoriesincluding developing and updating departmental distributed software licensemanagement policy. Perform other duties as assigned.The selected candidate will directly support classified systems in the Dept. ofDefense's (DoD) closed areas; as a result, will require a minimum of a Final DoDSecret clearance on the first day in order to perform this work.Experience with enterprise applications not limited to DevSecOps, Cameo andTeamwork Cloud, PKI certificate management, VDI infrastructure management,enterprise storage including quota management, backup and disaster recovery,system updates and upgrades, system hardening, general troubleshooting and otherassigned duties. Command line proficiency preferred.Education: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.2 plus years of solid job-related experiencePrefer candidates with 10+ years of solid job-related experience due to thecomplexity of work
