Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Tier 1 & 2 IT Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling more complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving advanced hardware, software, and network issues, as well as providing high-quality customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advanced Microsoft 365 / Entra / Intune: Deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune.
- Documentation: Create and update detailed documentation on troubleshooting procedures, issue resolutions, and system configurations.
- Remote Deployments & Support: Provide remote support to users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Onsite Deployments & Support: Hardware and software deployments and support onsite at client locations.
- Project Support: Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
- Incident Management: Manage and track escalated incidents through to resolution, ensuring timely updates and communication with end-users.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all support activities are conducted in accordance with company security policies and industry compliance standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and optimizing the performance of IT systems, identifying potential issues before they impact users.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Tier 1 & 2 or higher-level support roles
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar certifications are preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Windows operating systems. (MacOS is a bonus but not required)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
- Experience with Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access points, VLAN's, VPNs, and overall layer 1-3 networking
- Proficient in management and configuration of Microsoft Office 365, Entra, Intune, and Azure Cloud Server infrastructure. (Limited Azure Cloud Virtual Server Infrastructure is ok)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical issues
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Customer Service: Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell cmdlet and scripting (development and optimization)
- Knowledge and understanding of Group Policy
- Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Defender for O365 Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Strong understanding of Intune/MEM
- Skilled in incident management and prioritization
- Capable of handling multiple projects and initiatives efficiently
- Experience in managing vendor communications and relationships
- Services:
- Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Experience in supporting cloud environments, particularly with platforms like Azure
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience in handling security-related incidents
- Office Security: IDS and Access Controls
- Provide support to all security protocols, office and staff
- Manage access to ACS and IDS systems
