The salary range for this position is $42.50-$44.70 per hour based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location.

Summary
The Systems Analyst - Finance will be an integral part of Kendo Brands' Finance team, providing technical expertise and support across various finance systems projects with a focus on Anaplan implementation and optimization. The role requires a candidate who possesses strong financial acumen combined with technical knowledge in financial planning tools, Power BI, and ERP and EPM systems.
This role not only supports the day-to-day functionality of key finance systems but also contributes strategically towards the ongoing digital transformation within Kendo Brands' financial operations by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Anaplan alongside other essential finance applications.
You will report to the Sr. Manager Finance Systems & Reporting who is responsible for the project management of systems implementation and act as the BI Key User & support for all reports used by the Finance department. In this role, the analyst will provide technical expertise and support for Finance teams and other business stakeholders across the company.
As the ideal candidate, you possess a deep knowledge of Finance and BI systems as well as a unique blend of Reporting & Planning and systems implementations expertise. You enjoy partnering with users, helping them to fully leverage system functionality and are constantly looking for ways to improve processes and reduce manual work utilizing system functionality. You are process innovation focused, can work through complex challenges, and work effectively across diverse teams; you're not afraid to proactively seek advice and guidance when needed. One of your key strengths is navigating challenging situations in a solutions-oriented way as you play a key role in bringing exciting new possibilities to Finance and Kendo Brands.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sr. Manager Finance Systems & Reporting Lead to support system implementations and enhancements, particularly regarding Anaplan projects.
- Provide ongoing support for existing finance applications while being actively involved in training users on new tools or enhanced features
- Engage in project management activities related to finance system enhancements, including requirements gathering, process mapping, testing protocols, and deployment strategies.
- Identify opportunities for improvements within finance processes through automation or new technology solutions.
- Support change management efforts to achieve Finance transformation objectives and maintain process documentation as the business evolves.
We're Excited about you Because...
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
- You have a systems aptitude with 2-4 years of experience working with financial applications such as Anaplan or similar tools.
- You have strong skills with Excel and Power BI. Anaplan model building experience preferred.
- You have a strong understanding of finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, close processes, allocations, currency translations and consolidation activities.
- You are familiar with Agile Project Management with an appetite for change management while working well under pressure in a fast paced, team-oriented, and dynamic environment.
- You have outstanding communication skills paired with the ability to effectively engage cross-functional teams.
- You have a solid analytical skills coupled with a creative problem-solving approach.
- You have a strong customer service orientation, a patient, professional and calm demeanor when working with users and a can-do 'why not' attitude
- You are detail oriented and possess an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
