Position Summary:
Potawatomi Training, LLC (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified TSP Assistant Team Lead whois responsible for overseeing, coordinating and providing supervision to Classroom Support, Indirect Training Clerk, Non-Resident Training Clerk and OBP/REPP Training Clerk in the absence of the TSP Team Lead.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manages personnel in the preparation of training materials and the setup of classroom materials.
• Purchases all supplies and office materials used by the entire contract.
• Performs quality inspection of classrooms once set-up is complete; and ensures Classroom Support personnel are trained in quality inspection
• Ensures inventory control of training support materials and classroom supplies.
• Creates and submits monthly reports
• Oversees the preparation and shipment of completed materials via government approved shipping company
• Provides a monthly quality report spreadsheet and provides additional reports as requested.
• Orders training material through government approved printing contract
• Attends and actively participates in all required meetings
• Monitors Resident and Non-Resident Training calendars to assure materials are ordered, received and quality checked before each class
• Arranges shipment of conference materials to various locations
• Manages REPP (Non-Resident) to ensure FedEx printed material and admin supplies have been quality checked and ready for shipment
• Manages OBP Program (Non-Resident) to ensure printed materials and admin supplies have been quality checked and ready for shipment
• Participates in interviews for new hires
• Coordinates training of all new personnel
• Work effectively with a team and is respectful of colleagues
• Adhere to company policies and procedures; meets established deadlines
• Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional growth and development
• Accept constructive criticism and is receptive to changes in the work environment
• Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in management, shipping and material ordering/handling processes
• Advanced training and/or certification in computer software applications to include Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Access)
• Perform detailed tasks under time constraints
• Detail oriented
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with fairness
• Perform non-manual work directly related to management and business operations
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule
• Proven experience in change management
