Salary Range: $140K-$145K/Annum
Job Description:
- Migration Experience: BO to Tableau, any Tableau Migration
- Cloud Experience, Azure, Snowflake,
- Database Knowledge: Netezza, SQL Server, Querying in BO.
- Tableau Solution Design: Design and architect Tableau based data visualization solutions to meet business requirements and optimize user experience.
- Data Modeling: Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement robust data models, ensuring data is structured for effective reporting and analysis.
- Dashboard Development: Develop complex and dynamic dashboards that provide deep insights and are easy to navigate. LOD Functions.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure Tableau solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security, adhering to best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training, support, and guidance to business users and junior Tableau developers.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Tableau solutions, including architecture, data flows, and design rationale.
- Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data governance policies and collaborate with the data governance team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau implementations, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends, and implement innovative solutions that add value to the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including advanced dashboarding, data blending, and Tableau Server/Online administration.
- Strong experience with data modeling, SQL, and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
- Certification in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server is preferred.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R.
- Experience in leading or managing a team of BI developers.
