Overview:

The Tableau Developer plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Tableau to meet the data analytical needs of our business stakeholders. They will collaborate closely with data analysts, business intelligence teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the data visualization solutions are impactful and align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.

Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather dashboard requirements.

Implementing best practices in data visualization, usability, and performance optimization.

Creating and maintaining Tableau data sources and data sets.

Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in Tableau visualizations.

Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting of Tableau dashboards.

Translating complex business data into accessible and actionable visualizations.

Documenting technical specifications, data mapping, and data flow.

Providing Tableau training and support to end users.

Staying updated with Tableau features, upgrades, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in SQL and database management.

Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

Experience in data interpretation and analysis.

Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Relevant Tableau certification is a plus.
