MANAGER'S ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS
Being that we are a dynamic and ever-evolving workspace, our managers should expect to have to exhibit different skill sets, often at the same time. Including, but not limited to:
- Greeting customers and assisting them when they are placing their orders.
- Cooking and building food items to customer and company expectations.
- Daily prep and cleaning responsibilities.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Responding professionally to both positive and negative customer interactions.
Expectations for Applying Managers:
- 5 years or more in the hospitality industry with management experience
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift over 40 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a 5-star dining experience for all guests.
- Effectively manage HR responsibilities, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, setting high standards for productivity, quality, and service while resolving any issues.
- Meet financial targets by managing budgets, controlling labor costs, and assisting with menu planning.
- Maintain cost control by monitoring portion sizes, reducing waste, and ensuring food quality.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by managing lighting, music, and food presentation.
- Be proactive in finding opportunities to improve the restaurant's performance and overall experience.
