The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding process within an organization. This role will assist with job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires. They may also handle administrative tasks, maintain applicant tracking systems, and collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to attract and retain top talent. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding process within an organization. This role will assist with job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires. They may also handle administrative tasks, maintain applicant tracking systems, and collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to attract and retain top talent. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring that all parties are informed of the details.
- Send interview confirmations, reminders, and follow-up communications to candidates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely and professional communication, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Address candidate inquiries and provide updates on the status of their application.
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards, company websites, and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates for further review by recruiters.
- Coordinate and monitor the onboarding process to include pre-employment assessments and background checks as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate response rates.
- Assist with the preparation of recruitment reports and presentations for HR and management teams.
- Liaise with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- May schedule and assist with new hire orientations and training sessions.
- Ensure that all recruitment documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of recruitment process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a recruiting, human resources or related position
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
