We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead and develop a strategic and dynamic talent acquisition team that delivers best in class results for our emerging business in Kansas City. Lead workforce analytics, cross collaboration, planning and strategy initiatives to support key business objectives. This individual will help us attract top talent in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner while promoting industry leading hiring practices.
What You'll Get To Do:
- You will work closely with leadership to scale and develop a hiring strategy and plan, implementing tactical skills to ensure we source and hire the most talented and diverse candidates. Must demonstrate supportive leadership skills to establish themselves as a trusted people partner. You will play a critical role in developing our talent acquisition strategy and developing our employment brand while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
- Lead the Talent Acquisition team in the development and execution of the Company’s sourcing strategy
- Develop tools and processes to identify and acquire talent to meet the current and future business needs
- Advise and consult with key leaders to ensure that the company's business objectives are linked with internal and external talent management objectives and Workforce Planning strategy
- Manage and refine a Candidate Experience Strategy that improves the application process, provides more insight into the company and ensures a positive and consistent candidate experience across locations
- Manage and refine an effective Social Recruiting Strategy that complies with all regulations
- Further elevate and manage the company's Talent Acquisition Branding Strategy
- Utilize a Talent Pipeline that proactively engages talent related to future business needs
- Manage and oversee the job requisition process, job postings both internal and external, and applicant flow
- Implement and maintains quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure success of talent acquisition initiatives
- Lead the continuing development of technology solutions for internal and external talent management
- Ensure effective and legally compliant assessment and candidate selection process
- Understand organizations workforce needs then develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract skilled talent and diverse candidates across all levels of the company
- Drive the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices while fostering strong business partnership and external candidate relationships
- Track ongoing hiring needs and manage end-to-end recruitment functions
- Develop and manage a high-performing team to meet and exceed hiring benchmarks
- Deliver reports and data as needed
What You'll Bring
Education and Experience:
- 8 plus years of proven work experience as a hands-on leader Or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and 5 plus years Human Resources experience, e.g., Recruiting, Sourcing, HR experience, or industry experience related to role
- 5 plus years of experience managing and developing lifecycle recruiting processes
- Record of successfully hiring top talent in a rapidly growing start-up environment
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, highly motivated teams, and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- In-depth knowledge of US labor and immigration laws best practices
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask a variety of priority tasks and projects with quickly evolving hiring requirements
- Able to work independently and work efficiently as part of a leadership team
- Able to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Strong talent assessment skills. Proven experience in hiring top talent
- Outstanding oral and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Maintaining relationships with internal and external entities and connections to ensure staffing goals are achieved
- Support and guide people leaders in assessing talent pipeline and needs in the organization
