Job Description:
Semper Valens Solutions, Inc. (SVS) is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and integrate with our full cycle recruiting process. Crucial abilities to this role include sourcing highly skilled, technical talent to help build the company's talent pool. This person must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a growing company.
Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interviews and selection procedures, and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.
Responsibilities:
- Source and attract talent through internal resources and external job boards, social networking sites, colleges/universities, military employment offices and other appropriate sources.
- Initiate contact with potentially qualified candidates using a variety of methods to include cold-calling and face-to-face networking.
- Pre-screen, qualify and present potential candidates against position requirements.
- Track and document candidate and requisition status per the OFCCP guidelines using the iSolved applicant tracking system.
- Data entry into the applicant tracking system.
- Track and maintain records on outreach activity.
- Review resumes against job postings.
- Ability to look at the whole range of opportunities and compare those with an applicant's qualifications as contingent placements.
- Manage multiple time-sensitive tasks with little guidance.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; Teams and SharePoint skills are a plus.
- Provide continuity to candidates as they move throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum of three years of relevant recruiting experience either in the military or corporate setting
- Familiarity with social media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Demonstrated people skills and ability to manage high volume, quick turn, requirements.
Desired
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with resume databases, and professional networks
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations
- An understanding of the differences between various roles within Information Technology (IT) organizations
- Familiarity with the government clearance population.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
