Job Summary

This includes development of the overall program strategy as well as tactically delivering on program objectives. Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in program management in the areas of talent, learning, leadership development, change management, and/or organizational behavior.
- Primary responsibility will be over leadership development programs, coaching & assessments and talent initiatives at a systems level.
Certified practitioner of one or multiple of the following assessments would be preferred: 360s, Hogan, Birkman, DiSC, StrengthsFinder - Customer service focused leveraging human-centered and agile design approaches.
- Demonstrates creativity, thought leadership, and problem solving to advance and improve program areas.
- Ability to demonstrate urgency, responsiveness and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven project management skills, attention to detail, ability to influence others, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities and provide thoughtful change leadership.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Instructional Design and Technology
- Lead a small team of Instructional Designers and Lead LMS Administrator (Cornerstone) to design, develop and curate a comprehensive portfolio of learning solutions, tools and resources for all levels of the organization.
- Accountable for the Memorial Hermann University's LMS platform (Cornerstone) including course uploads, technical troubleshooting, internal and external system integration and reporting.
- Partner directly with leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to conduct storyboard design sessions, architect learning solutions and develop training programs and resources such as instructor-led or e-learning courses, presentation decks, scripts, job aids, and discussion and training guides.
- Grow and develop instructional design knowledge, skills, and competence of Educators, SMEs and business partners to ensure content is relevant, targeted, scalable, defined and engaging.
- Build and establish relationships with external instructional design, media, and technical vendors to proactively fulfill increased design development needs.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.

Training and Development
- Lead a small team of Training Specialists to develop, deliver, and coordinate training programs and courses such as new employee orientation, consumer experience, leadership development, and new leader assimilation/orientation workshops.
- Manage processes, governance, communications, and learning content for Memorial Hermann University.
- Facilitate leadership development and training program in both virtual and traditional classroom settings in a highly interactive and engaging manner.
- Collaborate with the Instructional Design team and external vendors to develop and increase program offerings.
- Develop and deliver train-the-trainer and leader-led training workshops to establish a pool of competent, cross-functional instructors across various Memorial Hermann University colleges.
- Build a talent pool of supplemental training specialists and proactively establish relationships with external vendors to respond to increased training delivery and training content needs.
- Utilize Cornerstone (LMS) to manage courses/deliver; this includes, but is not limited to, setting up sessions, establishing email content and cadence, and managing rosters.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

Talent Management and Engagement
- Lead enterprise-wide Talent Review, Succession Planning, and Performance Management programs including designing and developing the processes, tools, and technology (Workday).
- Manage the leadership assessment, simulation, coaching, and executive and physician leadership development programs.
- Partner with operational leaders, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders to continuously review talent action and succession plans throughout the calendar year.
- Conduct org-level needs assessments to determine talent readiness as well as current and future state gaps.
- Collect end-user and leader feedback to consistently fine-tune talent management solutions, including communications, systems, content, and overall experience.
- Lead the annual employee engagement survey process to gain insight and identify opportunities for improvement. Share data, feedback and initiatives with leadership and key stakeholders.
