Your New Role: Certified Tank Installer

At Gaftek, you’re not just installing tanks; you’re leading the charge. As our Certified Tank Installer, you will command the battlefield of tank installation projects, overseeing every detail from material prep to client handover. Partner with the Project Manager to ensure timelines and budgets are locked in while leading your crew through every phase of the job. Whether it’s creating change orders, motivating your team, or troubleshooting with clients, you’ll be the cornerstone of every successful project.

Responsibilities:

• Skills Mastery & Training: Master installation processes and train your crew to be the best in the field.
• Project Planning: Own the schedule—coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure every tool and material is onsite and ready.
• Installation: Drive the project forward, ensuring deadlines and budgets are crushed.
• Team Leadership: Develop your crew into top-tier talent, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Client Relations: Be the point person on-site, keeping clients informed and happy every step of the way.
• Process Improvement: Suggest ways to make projects faster, smoother, and more cost-effective.

• 5+ years of professional construction experience, including ownership of basic tools.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing crews.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Commercial job site experience and an eye for craftsmanship.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight when required.
• Must hold state certification as an underground tank installer and a valid driver’s license.
• Clean background check and authorization to work in the U.S.
• ICC License is a plus but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
