You are:
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 8+ years in accounting or financial management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Preferred experience in nonprofit accounting, grant management, and donor reporting.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, lead teams, and drive strategic growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Experience scaling nonprofit financial operations.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks required; SAGE preferred).
- Experience in PE-backed organizations is a plus.
What will you do?
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes, accuracy, and timely financial reporting.
- Manage the division's P&L, aligning profitability with the organizations mission and growth objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to scale operations and expand service offerings.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee client onboarding and integration of financial needs into the organizations systems.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver tailored accounting solutions.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee financial statements, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities to expand the divisions client base and services.
- Develop strategies for sustainable growth.
