Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director, you will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive tax and consulting services to our closely held business clients, their members/owners, and high-net worth family groups. Your key responsibilities include:
Conducting detailed reviews of tax returns, addressing all tax issues collaboratively with clients.
Planning and overseeing the tax process and related procedures.
Managing budgeting and staffing aspects of tax projects.
Cultivating and managing client relationships and expectations in alignment with project requirements.
Offering timely advice to clients and ensuring client satisfaction through the provision of high-quality services.
Leading client engagements, supervising team staff, and collaborating closely with internal managers and partners.
Crafting written tax advice and responses to IRS inquiries.
Identifying and presenting tax-saving opportunities to clients.
Actively contributing to client satisfaction by delivering timely services and high-quality work products.
Demonstrating a profound understanding of tax concepts and staying abreast of evolving tax developments through client assignments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is required.
CPA certification is mandatory.
Experience:
Possess ten (10) or more years of experience in the industry.
Software:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Previous experience with CCH Access or other tax preparation software is essential.
