We have partnered with a local regional firm that is looking for a Tax Manager to work closely with the clients and gather information to develop solutions on tax matters.  Communicate any discrepancies and provide an outstanding level of service.  In this job you will collaborate freely with a team to find solutions and work towards a common goal. 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each necessary duty adequately.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

Essential Functions

• This position can be in office or hybrid. 
• Oversee the tax compliance process which would include staffing, gathering information, assessing tax returns and work papers, while delivering the tax return in accordance with pre-established budget and requirements.
• Correspond with managers and shareholders regularly regarding the position of assigned engagements.
• Evaluate work done by associates on tax returns and work papers and confirm they are accurate and compliant with professional and organizational standards, along with codes and regulations.  
• Answer questions, collect information and discuss any issues and progress with clients.

Minimum Qualifications for Tax Senior

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
• CPA
• 2-3 years of recent experience in tax.

Minimum Qualifications for Tax Manager

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
• CPA
• At least 5 years of recent experience in tax.
