Tax Manager - Closely Held Business - Tandym

• Review business and individual income tax returns, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns and other deliverables
• Serve as a primary service contact in conjunction with the partner-in-charge
• Act as a liaison between clients and government tax authorities to answer questions and resolve potential discrepancies
• Oversee a team of other tax professionals in administering services within the practice area
• Stay current on changes in relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize client savings
• Participate in Firm recruiting efforts and in initiatives to increase retention
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Tax experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and/or a related field
• Experience relevant to closely held business and their individual owners
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
