RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Take ownership of the responsibilities and the department
• Engaging directly with clients and senior management, developing and managing professional client relationships
• Experience in Income Tax, Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, and Payroll Tax
• Reviewing tax returns and other deliverables
• Preparing more complex tax returns, tax projections, research and more
• Desire to grow technical skills through diverse engagements
• Build relationships with clients and community contacts and contribute significantly to the ongoing development efforts of the firm

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA license with 5+ years of recent public accounting experience preferred
• Experience in business and personal taxes, and financial statement standards
