SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join my client's team who is one of the largest and most renowned companies in the industry! The Tax Manager will play a critical role in managing the tax compliance, planning, and accounting for income taxes. We are looking for a qualified individual who has expertise in planning for pass-through entities that cater to high-net-worth individuals.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join my client's team who is one of the largest and most renowned companies in the industry! The Tax Manager will play a critical role in managing the tax compliance, planning, and accounting for income taxes. We are looking for a qualified individual who has expertise in planning for pass-through entities that cater to high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay current with changes in tax legislation
- Conduct thorough research on corporate, individual, and state taxes
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns including analysis and support
- Manage audits of federal and state tax income
- Develop strategic tax planning initiatives
- Communicate frequently with operating management regarding tax issues
- Collaborate with accounting staff to address any tax accounting matters
- Maintain strong relationships with clients
- Provide valuable business recommendations to clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master's degree in taxation preferred.
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Enrolled Agent certification.
- Strong experience with corporate and individual tax returns.
- Experience with compliance is preferred.
- Audit experience is preferred but not required.
- Seven or more years of related tax consulting experience.
- Experience with Partnership and Trust returns.
- Estate and Gift Tax returns experience is preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Knowledge of S Corp returns is preferred.
- Experience training and developing staff members.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting all deadlines.
