What You'll Do:
Lead the planning, preparation, and review of tax returns for closely held businesses (partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, gaining in-depth knowledge of their unique business needs and goals.
Collaborate closely with Tax Partners to deliver tailored tax solutions and provide forward-thinking strategic advice.
Manage risk and oversee tax engagements to meet both client expectations and firm standards.
Conduct research, draft memoranda, and provide clear, actionable tax guidance on complex matters.
Take ownership of multiple client projects, budgets, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
Mentor and develop a team of talented tax associates and senior associates, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Resolve tax issues with federal and state authorities and stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
BA/ BS degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
Active CPA license is required
Proficient with corporate and partnership taxation
5+ years of progression public accounting experience
