Description Jamie Benway with Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will file federal and state tax returns and work with financial and income tax statements, ensuring they comply with tax laws. If you are a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and highly organized, this may be the role for you! Major responsibilities - Advise management on new tax laws or the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies - Maintain the company's tax database and prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports - Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits - Put together accurate quarterly and annual tax reports - Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications - Manage outsourced tax preparation work - Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings - Confirm that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations Please contact Jamie Benway with Robert Half to review this position.
