Job Summary
Special Day Class Deaf/HH 1.0 2024-2025 School Year NVUSD is currently offering a signing bonus for this position of $10,000.00 / $2,500.00 paid at the completion of each school year for 4 years.
Requirements / Qualifications
Napa Valley Unified School District has a 1.0 FTE opening for a Special Day Class Deaf/HH Special Education Teacher. This is a District wide position. Successful candidate must have a good knowledge of and experience in providing assessment, consultation, program development and direct instruction in the area of adapted physical education for identified pupils with exceptional needs. Must have a demonstrated ability to work with teachers as an instructional team. Regular education teaching experience is desirable. Must demonstrate strong classroom management skills, effective instructional strategies, and communication skills. Teaching assignment may include all grade levels of physical education. Must be CLAD certified or be qualified to obtain an emergency CLAD permit. Bilingual Spanish candidates are strongly preferred.
