Job Summary:
Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Housekeeping team is the start of creating that experience of a lifetime for our guests. Responsible for making sure our facilities are clean and meet brand standards, Housekeepers are detail-oriented masters of Hospitality.
Job Specifications:
+ Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.99 / hour
+ Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round
+ Skill Level: Advanced
Job Responsibilities:
+ Organize and assign room assignments for daily cleaning service to guest rooms as well as common areas and commercial spaces.
+ Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system.
+ Submit work orders, as needed
+ Ensure excellent internal and external guest experience
+ Emphasize safety culture among staff and keep them informed of safety policies and procedures.
+ Assist in training housekeepers and houseman
+ Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
+ Enforces policies and procedures
+ Direct and be in charge of department when housekeeping managers are not present.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
+ Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
+ 1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred guest service or hospitality a plus
+ Must be able to communicate in English, bilingual a plus
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours while consistently bending and lifting
+ Detail-oriented, self-motivating, and strong communicator, both written & verbal
+ Experience related to vacuum/equipment repair, plumbing, carpet cleaning, etc. a plus
+ Must be flexible, adaptable, versatile, and responsive to the needs of the housekeeping responsibilities
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
