Location: Onsite in Connecticut.
A leading company in CT is seeking a dedicated TechOps Analyst for a hybrid role that combines L3 Support Engineering and IT Infrastructure Engineering within End User Support/Desktop Administration. This position requires onsite presence and involves working the second shift from approximately 4-5 PM to 12-1 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to end users.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Windows servers (Windows 2008-2019).
- Oversee patch management and backup/restore operations.
- Administer VMware environments (experience with VxRail and Nutanix is a plus).
- Utilize Microsoft PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Administer Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Maintain and troubleshoot server and SAN hardware (Dell experience is a plus).
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows servers.
- Experience in patch management and backups.
- Knowledge of VMware management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with GPO administration.
- Familiarity with server and SAN hardware.
Desired Skills:
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019.
- Linux systems administration.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years relevant experience or 10 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred certifications: MCSE, MCSA, Azure, M365, AWS.
Work Hours:
- Second shift: 4-5 PM to 12-1 AM.
