Summary of Position:
The Technical Project Manager role serves as an inter and intra-agency technical advisor, managing projects both within the Defense and Intelligence Community to modernize legacy and production scale workflows with AI/ML AI-derived insights for targeting, prediction, and collection orchestration.
Essential Functions:
System Integration: Integrate AI solutions with existing real-time monitoring systems and infrastructure. Maintain technical project management execution of Innovation projects (i.e. prediction of objects using AI/ML detections and other data sources, applications of LLMs, advanced sensor collection and orchestration for improved inference, and operationalize ATR in all Combatant Commands).
Technical Support: Work with IT teams, both within and outside the Agency, to ensure seamless deployment of AI technologies and provide ongoing support.
Optimization: Optimize system configurations for AI applications focusing on real-time responses and decision-making enhancements, across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of integration processes and configurations, with weekly reports to the CTO and monthly status updates to leadership.
Collaboration: Work closely with computer vision algorithm developers and other technical teams both within the AI/ML program and beyond the AI/ML program, across multiple IC agencies.
Job Specifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in systems integration, with at least 2 years of that focused on AI and real-time monitoring systems.
- Proficiency in system integration methodologies, AI technologies, and real-time monitoring systems.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years performing technical project or program management in a fast-paced, technology company delivering software products
- Experience describing and evangelizing the technological impact of AI solutions for data analytics and day-to-day operations.
