### Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
### Unit Position Summary
Help run the daily procedures in the fish rooms including feeding and food preparation, fish health control, water quality assessment, and ordering supplies. Provide fish stock management, such as crosses and genotyping. Provide fish system management, such as water quality management, fish system maintenance, and fish database maintenance. Keep the fish rooms in compliance with CAR, EHS Chemical, and Biological policies.
### Desired Qualifications
B.S. in a biological field; Experience with fish keeping/handling/husbandry; strong organizational skills; experience working in a laboratory environment is desired.
