Position Overview: This is a rewarding role that will provide exciting opportunities to work with our high-profile customer base. We are seeking an experienced Technical Applications Engineer to work with our existing team based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will use your technical experience in engineering solutions coupled with your customer focused aptitude and excellent communication skills to support and install material handling solutions that meet our customers' needs. In addition, you will complete customer site evaluations and demonstrations of our extensive product range and provide pre- and post-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the customer and the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide product technical consultation
• Provide customers aftersales technical support for the full MasterMover product range.
• Provide technical product demonstrations on-site
• Commission and train customers on final solutions
• Prepare technical reports
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, both remotely and on-site
• Support design engineering for product improvements

Qualifications:

• Training and/or education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in an applications engineering role, preferably within the AGV material handling or industrial equipment industry
• Experience in AGV technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
