Background: 

• The candidate will take fully formed business requirements from our business and work with our architects to develop solutions for sending \'Automated emails/SMS/Autocall messages\' to our customers.
• The candidate will work directly with our platform architects to develop the solutions to the business requirements.
• The candidate will also work directly with the outside teams who are responsible for forming and sending us the data payloads used to pass into templating language of our communications.
• The candidate will develop the documentation that will be utilized by our platform development, QA, and Front end developers for them to do their work.

SOFT SKILLS:

• The Ideal Candidate has previous developer background and can understand highly technical concepts as it related to the data transport technologies
• The ideal candidate possesses a keen sense of urgency and escalates to their management to ensure projects they are assigned are not blocked
• The ideal candidate can produce bullet proof documentation
• The ideal candidate understands big picture and can conceptualize projects beyond their scope of support (understands outside teams technology and processes)
• The ideal candidate is an extreme self-starter who will actively seek the knowledge they need rather than wait
• The ideal candidate owns and drives their assigned tasks to completion

REQUIRED Technical Skills/Experience:

• Understanding and experience working with and testing API calls for real time data requests
• Understanding and experience working with SFTP file structures for non-time sensitive data requests
• Understanding and experience working with and documenting KAFKA feed requirements
• Understanding and experience working with relational databases, reading and understanding complex SQL queries, writing simple to complex SQL queries

HIGHLY PREFERRED Experience;

• Experience writing HTML
• Experience working on messaging platforms related to Email, SMS and outbound dialers
• Experience with CSG billing systems
• Experience in cable industries and/or MSO
