Technical Customer Service Representative at Akkodis

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Customer Service Representative for a Direct Hire job with a client in Roseville, MN. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries regarding orders, returns, and technical issues, as well as collaborating with other departments to resolve complex issues.

Salary Range: $50K to $60K; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Customer Service Representative job responsibilities include:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, returns, pricing, product availability, and lead times in a timely and courteous manner.

• Entering orders via phone, fax, email, mail, and EDI, while managing order tracking and invoice discrepancies.

• Providing technical and application support for the entire product line to assist customers with their needs.

• Researching and relaying the status of orders using computer systems to keep customers informed.

• Forwarding sales leads to the appropriate sales department for follow-up on potential new clients.

• Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues effectively.

• Managing emergency orders by prioritizing shipping and ensuring prompt delivery.

• Maintaining customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and referring unresolved issues to the Customer Service Manager.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive or technical sector.

• Technical automotive experience is required for effective customer support.

• Previous experience working with ordering systems and a customer-facing role is desired.

• Additional certifications in customer service or technical support are a plus.
