This role will work closely with product management, quality assurance, and project management teams to support their functions and ensure cohesive project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and supervisors.
o Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Technical Oversight:
o Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
o Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and technical guidelines.
o Review and approve technical designs, architecture, and implementation plans.
Resource Management:
o Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and priorities.
o Manage team workload and ensure optimal utilization of team members.
o Identify and address skill gaps within the team and provide training and development opportunities.
Communication and Collaboration:
o Facilitate effective communication within the engineering team and with other departments.
o Act as a liaison between the engineering team and senior leadership.
o Ensure that project status, risks, and issues are communicated clearly and promptly.
o Collaborate closely with product management, quality assurance, and project management teams to support their functions.
Continuous Improvement:
o Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
o Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
