Job Description:
HPE is the leader in hybrid cloud with the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform and a portfolio of service offerings, enabling enterprises to simplify and accelerate their hybrid cloud journey.
We're looking for a Technical Marketing Manager with hands-on experience in cloud solutions and architectures to drive the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform adoption. As a Technical Marketing Manager at HPE, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technology and marketing. You will work with a cross-functional team of product managers, product marketing managers, and engineers to develop and execute marketing plans for the HPE GreenLake platform, driving the adoption of the GreenLake platform and cloud services through compelling technical content and strategic positioning. A successful candidate must have a unique blend of technical expertise and marketing acumen, with a focus on creating impactful technical marketing content, including high-impact content like solution demos, to drive awareness in the technical community, and support enablement and sales efforts.
Required job functions and Responsibilities:
- Technical Content Creation:
- Develop a range of 201- to 401-level technical marketing content, including technical whitepapers, technical presentations, architecture designs, best practice guides, and demo videos
- Cater the content to diverse audiences, especially targeting the ITOps and developers, and ensure that marketing messages resonate with the target personas.
- Cross-team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to gain an in-depth understanding of products and services vision, strategy, and key capabilities.
- Partner with product marketing managers to enhance the platform's positioning with deep technical experts and insights.
- Work cross-functionally to bring multiple services onto the cloud platform and translate technical concepts into compelling narratives and technical marketing content.
- Sales Enablement and event support
- Conduct technical sales enablement training, through presentations and demonstrations, to ensure the sales team is well-equipped to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Provide technical assistance to the sales team, supporting them in addressing customer inquiries and challenges.
- Collect feedback from the sales and partners and provide the input to the product management team to influence the platform and cloud solution roadmaps.
- Conduct technical demonstrations in various industry events to showcase the HPE Greenlake platform and services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of proven experience as a technical marketing engineer or technical marketing manager, solutions architect, and sales engineer, a developer, or a developer advocate.
- Strong technical hands-on experience in cloud technologies, hybrid cloud, IaaS, SaaS, platform, APIs, security, virtualization, containerization, Kubernetes, storage, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, networking, and security.
- Knowledge and experience in API integration and coding.
- Developer experience is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven and highly motivated with a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- In-depth understanding of the current cloud landscape and industry trends.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Enthusiastic about staying current with industry developments.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
