We look for people who embrace this culture.A DAY IN THE LIFE:Attend an engineering delivery team stand-up with product, engineering, and QA to ensure that a critical feature for an upcoming product launch is on trackAttend the release planning meeting to gain a comprehensive understanding of the upcoming and subsequent releasesOrganize and lead a meeting with product leaders to prepare for an upcoming stakeholder meeting, ensuring that demos, documentation, and pricing for new features are readyRevise the product delivery plan to accommodate some new, unforeseen scope, and negotiate with stakeholders to determine which initiatives should be scaled back due to this new scope. Ensure any client-facing roadmaps are updated accordinglyPropose and present the upcoming quarterly plan to the executive team for feedback, and provide an update on how the product and engineering teams are progressing toward their goals halfway through the quarterParticipate in the weekly check-in with the VP of Engineering and Head of QA to review the progress of automating our regression test suite, with the goal of enabling more frequent company releasesMonitor the test case execution dashboard for the upcoming release to determine if any contingency plans are needed in case the release date is delayedDevelop a recommendation for implementing a best practice that will significantly enhance the overall software development lifecycle (SDLC) and improve our feature delivery process.1-1 with the chief product officer and chief technology officer outlining goals for next week and outline key risks to anything in our delivery planReporting: Reports to Chief Product OfficerSimilar job titles: Technical Project Manager, Product Operations Manager, Technical Portfolio ManagerSalary: $165,000 - $185,000Benefits & Perks: Check them out HERE!WHAT WE’LL TRUST YOU TO DELIVER: Oversee the portfolio of initiatives for Amount’s platform investments across the product teams, ensuring that milestones meet our delivery plans, and we’re staying within budgetCollaborate with the leadership team on product and delivery strategy, and oversee the investment process for major product and engineering initiativesReport on the success metrics for initiatives, processes and programs, including highlighting major risks ensuring all stakeholders communications are managed effectivelyEnsure that all business stakeholders (Sales, Sales Engineering, Implementations, Customer Success, Product Support, Legal, Finance, etc.) are aligned on what is being delivered and are prepared for any impacts to their jobs to be done.
