Job Duties & Responsibilities
- As a Project Portfolio Powerhouse you will juggle multiple client initiatives like a pro, ensuring each one gets the red-carpet treatment it deserves.
- Forget project limbo - you will shepherd projects from "hello" to "hero" status, ensuring a smooth launch from start to finish.
- Be a client whisperer by teaming up with sales and client services to understand project goals and scope, becoming the ultimate translator between tech speak and client needs.
- Act as a data detective: Metrics and reports? They will be your playground. You will track project success, identify trends, and keep everyone informed.
- Be a problem-solving artist, you will think outside the box (or spreadsheet!) and collaborate with your team to find creative solutions to any project roadblocks.
- You will help establish best practices, templates, and tools that make project management a breeze for the entire team.
- Fear not, the client will be kept in the loop! You will provide clear, detailed documentation so everyone is on the same page.
- Keeping track of deadlines? That is your superpower. You will communicate project progress and any hiccups clearly to leadership.
- Need to adjust course mid-project? No sweat! You will work with clients and stakeholders to ensure everyone's on board with any necessary changes.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ Years Experience, you have navigated the MSP world with ease, so tackling this role will be a walk in the park.
- Certified Project Management credentials, do you have an entire collection? (Project+, PMP, ACP, Certified Scrum Master, etc) Project management certifications?
- You are a tool master - ConnectWise, Microsoft Products, Project Management Tools.
- You can negotiate a vendor contract so well, they will be thanking you (even though you just saved the company money).
- Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary, keeping the project on track financially.
- You can present to executives like a pro! Use your highly demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management.
- From migrations to mastery, you know M365 inside and out.
- You have tackled infrastructure projects and ISP migrations like a boss.
- Experience leading teams? You will be a natural at motivating and guiding your project crew.
Education
Tech-Savvy Degree (Associate's Required, Bachelor's a Bonus): An Associate's degree in technology (or a related field) is a must-have, but a Bachelor's degree or experience that proves you're a project management rockstar is a major plus.
Transportation
Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and valid insurance to navigate the occasional client visit or team outing. Think of it as your project management chariot - ready to conquer any transportation challenge!
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds (think carrying a laptop or a celebratory team cake!).
