Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Contract Length: 6 months+ (possibly extendable)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join the  Technology Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating various technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with business objectives. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and stakeholders, to facilitate smooth project execution and efficient communication.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:

• Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to achieve project goals.
• Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies.

Project Execution and Monitoring:

• Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and roadblocks to maintain project momentum.
• Monitor progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report project status to stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

• Possess a strong understanding of technical concepts, software development methodologies, infrastructure, and best practices to facilitate effective communication with technical teams.
• Collaborate with technical teams to set achievable project milestones and ensure realistic expectations.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Foster effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and presentations to keep all stakeholders informed.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

• Proactively identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans to prevent project delays or failures.

Project Closure and Evaluation:

• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and capture lessons learned.
• Ensure the project documentation is complete and accessible for future reference.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, managing complex technical projects from start to finish.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of software development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, or Scrum) is a plus.
