WHAT DOES YOUR DAY INCLUDE?
Our Technical Sales Representative is a vital part of our business growth and client satisfaction, and you ensure every project exceeds the client's expectations. You conduct sales calls with prospective and current clients, learn about their manufacturing needs, and develop tailored solutions. Attentively, you analyze project documentation to create cost estimates and quotes for complex orders.
When the client approves the work and it's underway, you help make sure everything goes according to plan. You coordinate production schedules, manage purchasing activities, and negotiate pricing with vendors. Using various software, you track sales activities and make sure we're on track to meet our goals. You stay up-to-date on manufacturing industry trends and do your part to please our clients!
IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field OR equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably in precision industries
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with basic 2D CAD programs
- Experience with CRM software
- Knowledge of heat treating and finishing processes
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish
