About the Job
Responsible for analyzing and designing solutions to networking issues, providing technical support to other departments, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving issues with both hardware and software. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 9 years or equivalent experience in a related area. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and technologies in the field. A certain degree of creativity is required.
THIS IS PART TIME FOR 1 YEAR SCHEDULE WILL BE NEGOTIATED WHEN SELECTED
The purpose of this request is to procure a Technical Specialist for ODOT Information Systems Branch, Enterprise Application Services. The primary tasks the contractor shall perform are as follows:
Analyze and evaluate ColdFusion application software code to determine features that will be retired, removed, deprecated, or unsupported in ColdFusion 2023
Recommend mitigation options for applications that contain ColdFusion 2023 retired, removed, deprecated, or unsupported features
Upgrade application software code to utilize HTTPS and create Azure Deploy Pipelines as needed
Troubleshoot issues related to agency ColdFusion applications migrated from version 2018 to 2023
Make a recommendation for migration of agency ColdFusion applications that need mediations Provide estimates to complete assigned tasks and communicate progress
Manage multiple task assignments concurrently and execute work in order of priority Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Ability to interact with users, clearly understand their needs and document those needs. Understand Information System Development Lifecycle methodology. Experience with requirements management and perform analysis within source code. ability to architect and document the logical structure for software systems and databases. Must have experience with ColdFusion solutions, code analyzer, and version migrations. Must have advance skills in developing, testing and deploying ColdFusion applications.
