Technical Writer/UX - TEKsystems

We are hiring a Technical Writer/UX in Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:

• Move content in to our new content management system including: copyediting, testing, and updating links, update documents, and verifing accuracy.
• Implement content updates from company wide
• Write and edit content to create clear, consistent, and concise content experience
• Support development and documentation of site content strategy

Requirement:

• B.A. in journalism, communications, English, marketing, digital media or related field.
• 3-6 years of previous experience in UX writing and/or content strategy work in product, marketing or tech organizations, agencies, freelance.
• Previous work experience in a large corporate environment is a plus.
• Strong writing skills and command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary).
• Proficient at UX and technical writing. Ability to adhere to brand voice, tone and style requirements.
• Natural curiosity and a knack for creative problem-solving are markers of success.
• Able to balance multiple projects; adaptable to ever-changing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate, seek transparency and work independently to execute tasks.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, help teammates and learn from them.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

This position is hybrid in Milwaukee, WI.
