About the Job
" State of Ohio License required. NICET is a plus.
" Geographical footprint is up to 2 hours from home office.
" Driving to site locations in personal vehicle.
" Will be driving 3-4 site locations a day (2 hours per call).
" Commercial experience preferred.
" 8:00AM to 4:30PM typically. Sometimes overtime will be required. Depends on the demands of the customer.
" Emergency on-call for 2 days a week. This will be an 8 10-week rotation.
" Electronics background or electrical engineering education.
" Certified tech with Client or SimplexGrinnell programs is a plus.
" Low voltage certifications are a plus.
" Candidate will need some experience with fire tech. Nobody new to the industry. At least 18 months of experience.
" Basic knowledge with low voltage tools.
" Service experience and troubleshooting experience required.
" If there are 10 years of experience or more, Wire runs/pulls are minimal. Most of the job requires troubleshooting.
" Modification programming will be part of the job.
" Attendance is very important. (#1 priority)
