Essential Duties and Tasks

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, and Food Packaging Safety requirements.
• Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined.
• Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized.

Instron, Heat Sealers, Opacity Meter, Scales, Internal Bond Tester, Friction Peel Tester, Smoothness Tester, Mullen Tester, Stiffness Tester, Tear Tester, Color Meters, Densitometer, Caliper, Micrometers, Knives, Caustic Soda, Dyne Solutions, Pin Hole Solutions, Cutting Boards, Computer, Calculator, Ruler, Telephone.
Work Environment
Work is primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.
