SUMMARY:
Manage processes for effective distribution of technology assets. Oversee inventory management processes and systems. Manage and monitor supply chain operations for all District technology.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Inventory
- Manage the procurement of all end user technical hardware, software and licenses to ensure all staff and students achieve the highest level of success.
- Develop and maintain the technology portfolio using identified District software and continuous improvement processes.
- Create and maintain an inventory of the technology portfolio.
- Work with departments and campus administration to deploy required hardware for new and temporary positions, including substitutes.
- Work with departments and campus administration to collect District assets from employees separating from the District.
- Audit hardware assets against the installed base.
Report/Training/Processes
- Create best practice processes for hardware receiving, deployment, and reallocation.
- Work with campus administration and technicians for needed hardware reallocation to achieve the highest level of success.
- Provide updates and training to other personnel on processes, tools, and reports.
- Define metrics, data collection, and reporting on the effectiveness of IT asset management processes.
- Stay up to date on hardware licensing, compliance changes and vendor licensing models and metrics.
- Create process for out of warranty repairs for all technology hardware and resources.
- Comply with Federal E-Rate requirements regarding procurement of technology resources.

- Maintain expertise with technical skills and certifications aligned with job responsibilities.
- Maintain excellent working relationships and communicate effectively with allDistrict personnelandthe community.
- Develop and maintain systems for retrieval of information in support of all programs; compile, maintain, file, and secure all physical and computerized reports, records, and other required documents.
- Pursue Professional Development activities for self and ensure that Professional Development activities are aligned with District goals and initiatives and current professional research.
- Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives.
- Comply with the Professional Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Educators.
- Follow District safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Associate’s degree
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Two or more current certifications, i.e., A+, Apple, Microsoft, Intel (preferred)
Experience:
- Four (4) years successful related experience to include procurement, accounts payable and/or project management
SPECIAL KNOWLEGDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of mobile technologies, mobile device applications and mobile security
- Knowledge of technology resources cost and availability to ensure educational resources for all staff and students
- Ability to recognize, analyze and resolve technology device problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct onsite inspections
