TEMP CAD DESIGNER/DRAFTER - This is a temporary position that we forecast utilizing for the next 4-8 months.
This position would work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in the office

Why You Matter:
As a CAD Designer at Lantech, you will be responsible for transforming initial rough product designs into Production documents using 2D and 3D CAD tools. You will provide CAD design support to develop, maintain, and improve Lantech product designs.
Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:
- Interface with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to take red-lined, standard models and drawings and transform into new, custom models and drawings.
- May create new or update existing BOM information in Lantech's ERP system.
- Complete projects in a manner consistent with corporate design and drafting standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, and drawings.
What are We Looking For? (Requirements)
We are looking for someone who:
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in a design & manufacturing environment designing electro-mechanical products or capital equipment.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of CAD design experience
- Must be proficient in 2D drafting (electrical/pneumatic schematics) and 3D Modeling (parts/assemblies/detail drawings).
- Experience with SolidWorks and DraftSight/AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM is required.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's Degree in CAD Design or equivalent education.
- Experience can be substituted for educational requirements
Desired Skills:
- SOLIDWORKS certification a plus.
- Experience with Inventor and Vault a plus.
